KÍ have one foot in the next Europa League round
KÍ need to finish the job, but they have a very good chance of making it into the next round of the Europa League after tonight’s game against Tre Fiori.
The Faroese players beat the San Marino-based side 5-1 last week in the first leg, with goals coming from Patrik Johannsen, Simen Sandmæl, Jonn Johannesen and Jóannes Bjartalíð (2).
The second leg will be played in San Marino tonight at 7:45pm Faroese time. If KÍ proceeds to the next round, Riteriai from Lithuania is up next.
An uphill climb for NSÍ
NSÍ is facing a considerably tougher challenge in its second leg match, having lost 2-0 to Northern Ireland’s Ballymena in the first leg.
The two teams play again at 7pm tonight at Svangaskarð, Toftir. If NSÍ manages to proceed to the next round, Sweden’s Malmö will be the next opponent.
